Layering guide: Vulcan Feu + Supremacy a fruity bomb over cedar and amber
Share
If you want your scent to actually stand out, layering is one of the simplest tricks that makes a real difference. Today we're pairing two characters from our lineup: Vulcan Feu and Supremacy a duo that combines juicy fruit with a deep, woody-musky base.
Why this pairing works
Vulcan Feu opens with mango, lemon, ginger and rhubarb fresh, sharp, full of character. The heart brings jasmine, pink pepper, violet and a praline note, and the base settles into tonka bean, cedarwood, grey amber and moss. It's a fiery, sweet-spicy fragrance.
Supremacy starts with pineapple, bergamot, white flowers and apple, moves through orange blossom, birch and amber, and finishes on oakmoss, musk and grey amber. A fruity-chypre skeleton with a classic, elegant base.
Both fragrances share grey amber as a common denominator in the base that's why, worn together, they don't clash, they complement each other. The result: a more intense, more layered fruitiness up top, and a deeper, more resinous base than either scent gives alone.
How to layer them
- Base: Supremacy. Spray it on your wrists and neck it gives the pairing its structure and helps everything last.
- Wait 60–90 seconds for the alcohol to evaporate and the notes to open up.
- Top layer: Vulcan Feu, one or two sprays in the same spots, or on clothing if you want the fruity top note to last longer.
The reverse order works too, but then Vulcan Feu's fruitiness dominates the first few minutes, and Supremacy only shows up later, in the base. We recommend our order if you want the whole day to hold a balance between freshness and depth.
When to wear it
This combo works well for evening outings and gatherings where you want to leave an impression, but without overdoing it thanks to the shared amber base, the duo stays cohesive instead of overwhelming. It shines best in spring and summer, when the fruity opening gets room to perform.
Our tip
Start with one spray of each layering is easy to overdo. If after an hour you feel the fruity note faded too fast, add one more spray of Vulcan Feu on your clothing, not your skin it'll last longer there without shifting the overall character.
